Poem, and answer. Paired with Foxhole in bomb crater, 1944;

My great-uncle, Milton Blair Hart, served with the U.S. Army in World War II, mostly in the Pacific Islands, I think. He was a casual artist and poet—he wouldn't have called himself either—and I feel very fortunate to have found these in my great-aunt's belongings after she passed.
